THE GITE - Le Petite Ecurie
The cottage for two is set within the walled gardens of our 300 year-old, traditional Charentaise farmhouse. It is extremely well equipped and comfortable. The garden is planted with a large variety of trees and shrubs, and we encourage you to use it as your own (without any of the work!). There are many places to relax here: have breakfast in your own, private cottage courtyard or in the garden at the rear of the cottage, next to the pond, where the local bird-life bathe in the cascade - read a book on a comfortable sun lounger beside the swimming pool, or perhaps enjoy a glass of the local, award-winning wine on the point-de-vue before dinner. The garden side of the cottage gets the sun in the morning, so is ideal for breakfast, and the courtyard faces west, so is perfect for dinner (and the BBQ is here for that reason), overlooking the endless views as the sun goes down!
